As more and more entrepreneurs are turning to the net to stake their claims, "old school" social networking platforms such as Facebook are making it easierfor aspiring developers to learn from some more experienced developers, gain e-street cred, and earn cash.
Considering the fact that most developers create mash-ups and other apps for free (in between eating peanut butter & jelly sandwiches and watching Harry Potter marathons), this incentive is a real treat!
Let's be clear, however, the deadline for application submittal for this round of recipients is August 29, 2008. As you know, it isn't everyday that a tech grant just drops into your lap. So, why are you still reading this post....go apply!
